Very nice collection of pre-historic artifacts in the Santiago downtown, Very easy to walk to it from several different metro stations, e.g., Plaza d'Armes and Santa Ana. Worth the $10 entrance. Medium sized (1-2 hr to enjoy everything). Lots of English translations.
It has a fair price and a rich collection of the Pre-Colombian era. I found it amazing and well explained and organised. You must go to see the time line of so many amazing cultures that lived in America before the European come here.
