I'm glad I road this train, as it goes through some really pretty parts of Santiago that I would not otherwise have seen. But lordy, lordy, lordy, was it ever a long walk to get to that train!

Walked to the embarkation point for the funicular from my hotel. At this time of year in the morning it was a pleasant cool walk through safe neighborhoods. The line wasn’t extraordinarily long by comparison with others I’ve been on but there I was a...More

It was a short 10min ride up or down and the views of Santiago are great. However, each cable car has only a small opening in the top window which does not allow good picture taking without the enclosed glass so our pics all had...More

We were 4 and chose a day when there were not many people. It is nice to go off in the allocated stops, just to go around and later to continue until the summit.

Going up with teleférico and down with the funicular is a great way to avoid walking. Cost 4240 clp pp and considered one way and not ida-y-vuelta. Keep your tickets within reach whilst on the teleférico or funicular as they are manually stamped when entering....More

The queue to board the cable took almost 60 minutes. Be aware of huge waiting times which can make a nice experience into a bad oneMore

This is the best cableway ride we've ever taken. The views are stunning and the operation is seamless. The technology is top notch....and again, the views, the views, the views.

The teleferico santiago is a great activity for all ages! The views from the Teleferico are outstanding, especially during the sunset. Not too expensive, about $5 USD. However, the lines can get long during popular times (sunset and mid morning). Very clean and kind staff.More

Bring a camera, as there are fantastic times to take pictures. Very high up and can see forever. Fantastic views of Santiago. Nothing too expensive, and I would highly recommend it. If you are afraid of heights, I probably would take the tram up instead...More

This is a great way to either go up, or come down from the Cerro de San Cristobal. Sweeping city views, nice and relaxing.

Hola Stella. Si puedes. Solo debes bajarte en la Estación Tupahue y caminar un poco hasta el restaurante. Saludos.
