If you want a nice peaceful place...
go to this temple. It is hilly and one can take a car or hike or bike. The view was great and peaceful. Going inside was also peaceful. It is also a good place to exercise outside of the temple and you can also learn more about the Baha'i culture.

House of young independent religion from Iran
In the foothills of the surrounding Andea's mountains is the interesting shell-shaped Bahá'í House of Worship, one of the eight temples scattered around the world of this young independent religion from Iran, promoting unity through free participation in acts of prayer and service. Designed by Architect Siamak Hariri, this 98-foot circular building comprises of nine arched "sails" made from marble and cast glass; it was opened in 2016. On a smog-free day, from its gardens and picnic tables, there is a fantastic panoramic view of the city below. TIP: If you go late, you will catch the sun setting over the glorious Andes mountains.

    Calming place, beautiful architecture
A peaceful and quiet place, so calming. People of all religions are welcome. The architecture is unique and inspiring. The view of the city is beautiful as this id on a hill. It is in Peñalolen and you can get there by bus and a 35 minute walk. Free entrance but be respectful of the silence and not taking photos inside.

Peaceful and tranquil while at the same time invigorating and exciting. This is a place of outer - worldly significance. Go up the pathways by the side of the building to feel the impact of the building as it bursts like a ripe flower out of the side of the foothills of the Andes. Enter the building and meditate, reflect, pray. Walk to the front of the building to see the city of Santiago laid out before it like a jeweled carpet. Wait until dusk to see the sun set and then allow the darkness to descend and observe the building begin to glow - lighting a torch for the rest of the world to be guided by. Life altering.....

There's different ways to get to this place, i went by bus from "Grecia" metro station from there you just need to take a bus heading to Grecia/Av. Diagonal Las Torres, once you're there you'll find the main entrance of this house of worship, you can even go by taxi from that point but I decided to walk up the hill, it took me about 25 minutes and once you're there you can stare at this beautiful architectural masterpiece, and full of green areas and places to meditate around the temple, from inside you can find how magnificent it is and it's the perfect place to relax and meditate staring at Santiago landscape. Worth mention that this place just opened about a month ago and its facilities are in perfect state, the entrance is FREE and they ask for proper dress code.

Baha'i House of Worship is THE only one in south america and I totally recommend visiting this place during your staying in Santiago.

I am not of the Bahai faith. I was nervous about visiting this temple because I did not want someone to try to convert me to their faith. They DO NOT do that. They are so polite. All they ask is that you respect their space. The building is so unique and beautiful I think it should be on everyone's must see visit list if you like architecture. I'm recommending it to all of my friends and will go back to see it again on my next trip to Santiago.

Went to the Templo Baha'i out of curiosity but so happy I did.

The place is serene and inspiring and centres you spiritually. It puts into perspective how beautiful Chile is and it was a welcome addition to the list of places visited in Santiago.

The temple has ample parking, and the steps, although many are easy to navigate. There are beautiful gardens around the temple and a fountain just outside.

From the top of the steps you can see the entire city of Santiago and this in itself is worth the view.
Inside the temple, the silence and peacefulness permeates your consciousness and you feel light, free, and happy. You feel inspired and self-aware. It is a beautiful sensation.

I would highly recommend visiting the temple during the day/ morning.

This Baha'i Temple is a true oasis of peace, tranquility, mindfulness, and inspiration in the Chilean capital. The location is wonderful, atop a hill with a commanding view of the city and awe-inspiring vistas of the Andes Mountains. The surrounding gardens invite serene and contemplative walks. But it is the architecture of the building itself that is most breath-taking. There is an organic beauty to the design that evokes the wonders of nature while symbolizing the unity of humankind. It is a space of connection and communion for people of all faiths or no faith. Not to be missed.

Well worth the effort. Contrary to other reviews, it is possible to have an Uber driver take you to the top of the hill. The setting and architecture are stunning.

The Baha’i temple is Santiago a a wonder of architecture, a stunning, tall, translucent structure with multiple intertwining leaves which invites contemplation and meditation. Outside, a simple and beautiful native garden surrounds the temple, beyond which are amazing views of the whole city, as well as the Andes Mountains which soar beyond. Better enjoyed in a clear day!
