Great tour, our guide was Leon who seemed genuinely passionate about what he was telling us recommending us books, films and museums to see. Only downside was that its four hours long which is quite a lot time to stay concentrated but you can just leave at any time. Definitely worth doing since its free although they do recommend tipping... More

I wish that I'd had a history teacher like Franco! Franco is an amazing and very knowledgable guide with a great sense of humour. He made all the usually boring facts and figures come alive with his interpretation and he didn't gloss over some of the terrible facts. The tour wasn't all history, it was interspersed with information about Chilean... More

We went on the tour with Franco, and he was fantastic. Really informative, knew the city and Chile's history really well. The tour covered everything from political history at a statue that still had a bullet hole from the last military coup, to how 'coffee with legs' put the beverage on the menu in Santiago, to why the stray dogs... We took the 3pm walking tour with Leon and it was fantastic! Leon was very knowledgeable about history, arts, architecture and more and he gave us great tips and information on Santiago and the rest of Chile. I would highly recommend this tour and as it's a great introduction to the city and country. Even though it was raining it... More

I did this tour on my first day in Santiago (and in Chile) and it was a perfect way to start my trip. Felipe was extremely knowledgeable and I loved his energy. He not only told us about each site but gave us insight into day to day Chilean life and politics. He had some great restaurant and sightseeing tips... More

We took the 10am tour with Franco and it was fantastic! He had great knowledge of the city and it's history as well as providing social context to the events. He had great tips for how to best navigate the city and what to see and do. The tour was about 4 hours. Definitely don't miss this tour! I'd highly... More

Really enjoyed franco's tour. Was about 12 kms all together, so anyone with mobility issues might find it a bit long. Franco really knew his content, making the commentary a great balance of history, politics and social bits and pieces. Kids were buzzing afterwards with 'did you hear him say x?' So he definitely worked some magic! Recommend for sure... More

Was a great day walking the city. Franco made the history interesting. Both kids aged 9 & 10 loved the tour and the information.

This tour is the best way to get to know what's going on around you. We had a great 4 hours tour with the amazing tour guide- Franco! He told us about the history of Santiago and Chile in a very interesting way, makes us want to learn more. He also took us to see places there is no way... More
