Huerfanos is a well paved, tree covered walking street. It is also popular with families on weekends to escape the traffic

This area is a nice place to engage in some people-watching as well as visit some shops and coffee shops. Otherwise, nothing too exciting

Paseo Huerfanos has many coffee shops and a lot of nice shops to buy things. This is in the city centre and is an interested area to explore.

If you visit La Moneda it is just a short walk to Huerfanos which is a lively "paseo peatonal" with bars, cafés, restaurants and shops where the local office people gather for the lunchhour.

Interesting to walk around in week days to observe the busy life in Santiago. Otherwise, not particulary interesting. Watch your belongings there, too.
