Very large church taking up one sude of the plaza. Wide side aisles with confession boxes two of which were in use on my visit. Many side chapels. Unlike many cathedrals thid was busy with many sitting silently and praying.

This cathedral is on the recommend places to visit lists, but in fact it is not all that special, however it was worth having a look around, it was a stop on our city tour
Due to an ongoing service we were not able to explore the cathedral as deeply as we would have liked but I was immediately impressed by the beauty of the place, its serenity and age. One for further exploration.
