Cerro Santa Lucia is definitely worth a visit. The hill has great views of the city and a good spot for photos. The stairs and trek to the top can be steep and narrow. There is no entrance fee, but they do ask that you sign a book/log before entering.

This is an amazing place to visit. Lots of stairs so if you are with elder or kids be aware of that. Many good spots to photograph. The earier you get there the best as the place gets crowded

If you are not fit then take it very slow it is a steep climb. Once you are at the top you will see why it was worth the effort. A great view over santiago. Go up late in the day when it is cooler then you can see sunset.

I loved the contrast between the busy streets and the tranquil gardens. The views from the top are well worth the climb.

Incredible collection of plants local and exotic. Mostly Mediterranean climate range. Many large native trees, fountains, historical buildings, statues, shady areas, and great views of Santiago. We choose to walk and it is steep in places; you can drive up the hill if you have a car. Concessions sell popsicles and snacks. There are restrooms for a small fee -... More

The gardens are beautiful and the buildings well maintained. The sight has a fairy tale atmosphere and from the top of the hill you can look out over the city.

We didn't have much time in Santiago so I was grateful for an excellent view and a great excuse for a walk in the city. The views are wonderful, the park is easily accessible and I'd definitely recommend it!

This was a great choice for our first stop in Santiago. The park is beautiful and very historic. The views of the city and the mountains are great. The artists sell souvenirs for a range of reasonable prices.
