Great natural history museum in Parque Quinta Normal, and just a short walk from metro station Quinta Normal. Slightly dated in looks and feel, but good information. Great place if the weather isn't so good outside, but if it is you have the park to...More

This museum at end of September 2014 was rearranging some exhibits and only portions were open. Here you can see the vast climates of the Chilean country and the animals that inhabit all of its diverse regions. A quick hour to see everything. The museum...More

The Quinta Normal Park is a bit off the beaten path. It has some nice buildings among them this museum. The museum has seen better days and it's exhibits are sparse but nice. If you're in the area you should visit but not worth traveling...More

My intention it was to visit another museum inside the Quinta Normal park, but I visited this museum by accident (lol) and I really enjoyed the exhibition of the Chilean fauna and flora. Very nice!

The last time we went, they had an outstanding exhibition on dinosaurs and the related period in Earth's history (hence the four stars). On other occasions the place can be quite drab, but hey: no entrance fee! However, the surrounding park is a gift to...More

Came to this museum with an interest in science and nature for something to do one afternoon. It was free entry and the exhibits are very good as long as you don’t mind taxidermy!

Lots of information about the history, geography and culture of Chile. You can travel in time in different sections of the museum. Very well exhibited and modern. Entrance is free. Some information translated to English as well.
