A thoroughly enjoyable walking tour of Quinta Normal park, it's surrounding streets, plaza's and museums. A must see is Peluqueria Francesa taking time to stop off for the best coffee in Santiago and finally a visit to the Museum of Memory and Human Rights telling the tale of Chile's oppression during the 70s and 80s. There is a surprise below... More

We went on two walking tours. The first was with Patricia and it centred on the sites associated with the deposed President Salvadore Allende and sought to answer the question, why did he commit suicide? My principal reason in visiting Santiago was to learn more about the Allende presidency and this tour could not have been more relevant. Patricia was... More

We did a walking tour with Andrés in the Yungay barrio. This is the best walking tour we have done and Andrés gave us great insight into the barrio. Unlike other walking tours where all you see is the exterior of buildings, we actually stopped and explored a museum, a few restaurants, and really got into the heart of the... More

From all free walking tours I've attended so far this one was outstanding! Thumbs up for Andrés, thanks for your carefully-arranged, interesting information about the Yungay barrio, its history, its inhabitants sprinkled with for your great sense of humor! I can really recommend it when visiting Santiago!

Andrés' tour was excellent, coherent, motivating and concerned with little details. When we walked through Quinta Normal Park he was able to explain to my wife and I the different kinds of trees that were planted there 150 years ago. Later on we went into Peluquería Francesa, an eccentric restaurant, where he explained rather creatively how it is that Chileans... More

I took the tour of Lastarria Neighborhood and it was really fascinating to get to know the hidden stories behind its buildings, museums and works of art, as the importance of Parque Forestal for the intellectuals and artists of the past century. The guide was very prepared and kept on giving interesting information, always offering an inside view on how... More

I highly recommend this tour and really enjoyed it. One gets to know the sometimes hidden beauties of one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Santiago with a well informed and super educated guide. I was having a really great time and felt like the hours were passing by really quickly. Even though I've been living in Santiago for more... More

While in Santiago, my husband, myself and another couple went on two walking tours and we all agree that the tour provided by Turism Reportaje was by far the better tour. Our guide, Andres is also the owner. He was extremely knowledgable and is fluent in both English and French. This was not a typical touristy tour. We were guided... More

I have been living in Santiago almost my hole life. Last saturday I took the tour, and I was able to discover really interesting facts about barrio lastarria I wasn't aware about. For example, the development and creation of Emporio las Rosas, or what is behind the Santa Lucia Hill. In general, I enjoyed learning about not only history but... More

I took the Lastarria tour last saturday, and although I have been living in Santiago for almost one year now and have often been in Lastarria, I got to know many interesting details and a lot of new things about that place. The tour was a very good mixture between "high" culture like the Museo de Bellas Artes and arquitectonically... More
