Stunning Building

This was by far one of the most impressive and beautiful buildings in all of Santiago. It is very majestic and dominates the skyline. Well worth stopping by to take a few pictures.

Both the palatial style building and its relatively narrow but simple modern water featured front yard has a distinctive architectural charm. Good for photography too.

Because it is closed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) when we "found" this Palacio, we were not able to enter it. We admired, however, its beautiful facades. Construction was going on during our 4-day visit of Santiago and we intend to visit it next time we're back in Santiago. Hopefully the construction would be finished by then.

The interior of this building is an open concept hall surrounded by two levels of balconies. The Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and Martial Court can be found here. There is also a small, but traditional looking law library in the basement. Worth stopping in here if you're passing by. Entrance on Bandera. Subway: Plaza de Armas (line 5).
