Not everything sold in this market is made by the artists. It was also hard to bargain, most would only give you a deal if you paid in cash. I did find a few authentic items (look for what the artists are actually working on).

Unbelievable clean, traditional, well maintained. We visited during the week so it was quiet and calm, perfect for a stroll with a preschooler. Simply surreal. Takes you to the heart of "artesanias" without being overwhelming. Do not miss it!!!!

This is a true gem. The artist village is beautiful. The handicrafts were the best I've seen at great prices. Pay cash for 10% off. My favorite shopping in Santiago by far!

lots of handcrafts and interest aspects of culture. There you can find interesting objects and jewelery. Besides it's a good oportunity to see part of the city since the centro is far from downtown

The Pueblito was set up several years ago by the church so that small craftsmen could market their creations. Now there are also paintings and jewelry, particularly lapiz lazuli for sale. You can wander from shop to shop and also enjoy a meal in one...More

I had to admit I was prepared to be disappointed in the market; I thought I would see more mass produced or poor quality items. I was WRONG! First, it is incredibly easy to get to the market. We went on a Saturday. We walked...More

Hi I did not buy a painting at the market but some of the artisans work there on site so you can see the work is authentic and speak with the artist first hand. As far as valuation goes I would make sure I did my research... More

Si estas alejado del lugar, la mejor alternativa es ir en el Metro, de allí queda a unas 3 cuadras, el traslado es muy cómodo, si estas por la zona de Las Condes también se puede hacer en un taxi, buena suerte
