A curiosity up on top of the hill. If you dare march all the way to the top you will be rewarded with some great smoggy views and this weird building.

It’s in the centre of town, it’s 100% free of charge and you get amazing views. The walk up the hill in parts can be steep. Plenty of little places to but water or an ice cream. The views are amazing! Do go and visit!

It's a lovely building that offers a great view to the City, and the climb to get there is full of pretty spaces to rest.

Nice but nothing really interesting. To be seen during a visit to the Cerro Santa Lucía, not worth a specific visit.

This is basically the same thing as Cerro Santa Lucia. It’s a fun time exploring the castle and it’s pretty views of Santiago. It’s just a few blocks from Plaza del Armas! Go check it out!

Good respit from city, with places to recline on grass or sit on a bench. Quiet fountains. Did not enter the castle (closed that day). Security helpful with directions, keeps list of countries of travelers.

This magnificent park is located in the Lastarria area of Santiago. It is well worth a visit as is the climb to the top of the Castillo Hidalgo.

I think the Castillo is under-rated in the reviews. It is an oasis of greenery in the Santiago city center that affords snatched glimpses of the city. Go in the late afternoon.

This was the first attraction to which we were taken by our guide shortly after our arrival in Santiago. It is well worth the relatively easy short climb to the top to see the remains of the castle itself and the view it affords across...More

It's a climb to the top of the hill and Castillo Hidalgo, but the 380 view is worth it. It a great park area with various walkway (steps) to the top. The Castillo is only open for special events.
