This is by far the biggest hill in Valparaiso. While it has some interesting buildings, some nice views and a huge cemetery, it can also be a dangerous place to walk in (my bag was stolen there once while I was in the street).

This is the must visit part of the city.It has the narrow streets and lanes .Their unusual art for,s on the wall and geacades makes this area what it is.Earthy and challenging,and at the same time an accepted beauty in the difference it presents.

Of the city of Valparaiso make sure you go up the Playa Ancha hill .Lots of interesting buildings to see on the way up to one of the best view points in the city .

This is one of the most beautiful vantage points of the city found in one of the more established neighborhoods of Valparaiso. However, the further you go up the hill the better the views, but the more impoverished and dangerious the neighborhoods are. Take care...More
