This big monument is in the middle of a busy traffic circle downtown. We saw it from our tour bus. Important center of town.

A Focal point of Sotomayor Square and the waterfront area. Unfortunately it would seem traffic patterns and space meant it had to be buzzed constantly by the speed of traffic in the city. Do visit this area of Valpo.

This monument is in front of the Hapag Lloyd (ex-CSAV) building, where I am sitting to write this review! It is in a very interesting area and there are always plenty of tourists posing and taking photos.

At the center of the modern Plaza Sotomayor, it is a nice modern monument. The square has an underground parking and is the ideal place to start a city tour with the close by Peral lift.
