On the 3 day trip you get a good taste of the natural beauty of the Andes and their traditional peoples. That's because you spend about the same amount of time (or more) driving as you do biking each day. You visit three remarkable icons of Ecuador, (Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, Chimborazo) and stay in very intriguing and hospitable places. The biking... More

My husband, 14 year old daughter and I had a fantastic 3 day adventure with Fernando, our guide, and Pascal our driver. We were especially impressed with Fernando's professionalism and his obvious love of his country and of biking. The trip was perfect from start to finish, and we got lucky with beautiful weather every day! We had a range... More

Fernando was an amazing guide to take us mountain biking at Cotopaxi. His passion for the natural beauty of the place and for sharing his deep knowledge was even more fun than the biking itself.... and that, too, was awesome! The bikes were in excellent condition and the home cooked lunch made it extra special.

One would think that, after so many years biking at Cotopaxi Volcano, one would get weary. However every day we go excited to the Park because it is new for you. And the energy that you bring renews us all. Thank you for making this possible and also for spreading the word. Fernando is an excellent guide and we are... More

What a great last day in Ecuador! We had the privilege of going with the owner on a private tour, which will be part of our memories for a lifetime. We were treated with such care that we never worried about the Biking. He had all of the equipment and a handmade lunch with ginger sauce that was great! Besides... More

Hello my friend¡ It was a privilege FOR ME to lead your private trip. We were happy that you shared with me my passions: Ecuador and biking. This combination was the key of our success and the fact that we have a good team to continue the legacy, makes me very happy. Thank you again for choosing our trip. And... More

A great way to see cotopaxi without having to be in Ecuador long enough to work up to the elevation requirements as they have a downhill biking only option! They were super easy to work with, the guide was great and let anyone take tons of pictures. A little thrilling too! I'd totally recommend these guys to anyone with limited... More

We are authentic and have lots of experience. We only hope people can spot the difference amidst the various offer. It... More

We've done the Death Road and cycled internationally for different countries as national sporting reps... But this is the best cycling tour we've done in South America by far. Why? Personable service, excellent off road sections, amazing food and instant friends. Nuff said. Yes you might be able to save a small amount on a different tour, but you get... More

Oh my! I am speechless with your generous review. It is extraordinary to be considered “the best cycling tour … in South America by far ", but coming from experts, "national sporting reps" it is an honor that we can only accept with great humility. Your generous words come from a kind heart. We feel honored and grateful and take... More

The best option to take a biking tour around Ecuador´s mountains. The places you visit are beautiful and the service itself is very good!

We were thrilled with your awesome Review. Thank you so much for considering the BIKING DUTCHMAN "the best option to take a biking tour around Ecuador´s mountains" In deed, we work very hard to deserve such an honor but only our clents can judge if we fullfilled your expectations. More

We did a two-day trip (Cotopaxi & Quilotoa). Biking was a really fun way to see Cotopaxi and the countryside near Quilotoa. Fernando was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. I started the weekend pretty nervous on a mountain bike and ended it fairly confident. If I make it back to Quito, I will definitely do another weekend tour!

We were thrilled with your generous comments about your recent experience with the BIKING DUTCHMAN. Every day is a new beginning and the experience has shown us that, like Forrest Gum's mom used to say "Life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you are going to get". When we meet our clients early in the mornings,... More

I heard that Biking Dutchman is more expensive than other tours, but when you are on it you realise why. We had a brilliant day, the only group on the trails and there were plenty of bikers heading up who then took a less interesting and shorter route. Our guide was knowledgable about the area and the biking and the... More

We had just a perfect day! Everything was well organized. Fernando as our guide didn't just do a good job, his work was amazing.
