A fairly plain open area, with little opportunity to sit and really absorb the surrounds. Apart from a very busy street circumventing it, it is surrounded by a number of architecturally lovely buildings, and of course dominated by Iglesia de Santo Domingo itself.

Fascinating, but we only had a little time to see this plaza and church. Read your guidebook before going so you'll have some background.

A very populated street. To the point were street vendors are trying to sell you shoe laces when your trying to take a look at the presidential palace.

It has a statue of Mariscal Sucre (hero), but I think it is the least interesting plaza in old town, it is just one block away from La Ronda though.
