Located along Guayaquil Street and in front of the Teather, there is not much to do here. There was one guy showing his talents during my visit. Of course, there are vendors selling their stuffs.

This is just a very small and quaint plaza in front of the theatre. I visited here both during the week and on the weekend and both times it was practically empty. Not much to see or do here.

This is a plaza in front of the main theater in Quito. The only reason I stopped here was that there were several street performances happening. One was some kind of comedy routine while the other was some people dancing.

Cute plaza surrounded by beautiful buildings. We ate outside at one of the food establishments in the plaza. Weather was perfect. Great for people watching. Was a circle of people around a few entertainers when we arrived. Lovely spot to sit and relax.

The Sucre Theater anchors this small colonial plaza. If you are fortunate to attend a concert there, you will observe an older, well-maintained theater. The facades of the buildings surrounding this plaza offer a glimpse of earlier colonial times. Try out one of the restaurants...More

This would have been just another little square but when we were there, a couple was performing a Latin dance (I'm not smart enough to know which one it was). They were in formal attire and really danced as professionals. At first I thought it...More
