A place to escape the smog and the noisy errands of Quito city. Go for a run or a walk, or just to calm your mind doing yoga. You will be gifted to spot at least 4 different types of Humming Birds, Vermilion Flycatcher or...More

Parque Metropolitano is a great place to spend the day, particularly at the weekend. The park is very large and has beautiful views over Quito. It has one of the 'QUITO' signs for photos which is fun. It has equipment for calisthenics and for dog...More

To me, even after almost 2 years in Quito, the Parque Metropolitano remains my favourite park. You go go for a quick run, a 10km walk or just go lie down on one of the lawn to tan. Beautiful trees and flowers, quiet, with an...More

You can hike, bike, or just have a picnic with friends and family here. Trails are pleasant and terrain not too difficult for all ages.
