Paddle boats, flowers, fountains, and jungles. This wonderful park has it all. The Botainical Garden is well worth a visit and while there, try the little cafe. The daily specials of coffee and cake are very nice.

The Botanical Garden is very nice. They will explain the layout of the garden and give you a self-guided map in English. Highly recommend this. The Carolina neighborhood is not touristy but filled with average local people. It is safe to walk around. Slightly upscaled,...More

If you are visiting Quito this is the nicest area surrounding Parque La Carolina. The locals come out on the weekend especially. There are sports venues, paddling boats, fun food vendors galore. It is clean and beautiful and a wonderful place to stroll and relax.

Never thought I'd see a black flower. Never thought Dracula was as highly thought of either to equate him with an orchid. If you like gardening and botany you'll like this place

A must visit in Quito if you’re a nature lover! The entrance fee is only $3.50 and it’s well worth it.
