In the middle of La Carolina Park you can find the botanical garden. It has been recently renewed and expanded to accommodate new plants that you can only find in Ecuador. There is a room that brings the Amazon to Quito so be ready to...More

This place has been developed further during the past years. The botanical gardens have been there but now there's also place for many different activities -or just chilling out. A good place to walk. Games, concerts, snacks...

We went there for their flower gardens, we were not disappointed. Unfortunately our taxi dropped us off at a spot that was quite a walk to the front entrance. A lot of gardeners are working in the gardens but the place was not trimmed. We...More

It is a very lovely and safe park to walk in at all times. Sundays are busy and it can be a lot of trash around and kids peeing everywhere but that is about education. Overall very nice place to work out and chill.

These botanical gardens are amazing! There are separate enclosures for plants that prefer different climates, and a whole section devoted to carnivorous plants. The orchids were particularly impressive. The outer gardens were beautiful to walk through, with plenty of flora native to South America, as...More
