Cristobal Colon organizes One day tour every weekend from 7am for their guest to: Otavalo, Cotopaxi, Mindo. Most of tourists like this way of tours becuase it is like familiar excursions with private transportation, lunch included and a bilingual local guide. Must try!

I enrolled at Cristobal Colon School for 4 weeks. The school organised an airport pick up to my hotel. My homestay host collected me from the hotel and took me to the apartment. Casa de Olga is highly recommended by myself. The apartment is clean and tidy and the food is excellent. The school itself consisted with one to one... More

I took Spanish language class here at the Cristobal Colon School for 5 weeks this past year. The school itself is comfy, offering tables for classes outside and inside (I prefer inside), free coffee/tea, and pastries. My professor Mayra Villafuerte was the best. She was super professional, spoke fluent English and Spanish, and was an effective teacher. It is owned... More

Ok I have been to the Cristobal Colon school twice for a total of six weeks, done Skype lessons for a year thru the school and while in Quito did four different excursions. When I started I had zero Spanish and I am now completely conversant. Of course, I recommend it! .... And the prices are great! My teacher Mayra... More

I studied 1:1 with Myra for 4 weeks (4 days/ wk) since I was completing an internship in Quito that was 100% in Spanish. The classes were invaluable to me and truly made my experience so much better. My Spanish improved immensely, and Myra really spent time getting to know my specific learning style. Overall the staff was wonderful, the... More

My friend and I took Spanish classes for three weeks (4h a day). We shared a teacher, Paty, who was really competent and very nice. Since Spanish was already our third foreign language, we didn't mind that the lessons were held completely in Spanish. If we didn't understand something, Paty could only explain it in English, but we know that... More

My girlfriend and I studied for two months at Cristobal Colon. She didn't know any Spanish at the beginning and now she can converse! Many thanks to our teachers, Magus, Tati, Sandra, and of course Jose for all of his hard work organizing the school.

I took 4 weeks in this very good organised school. And every day was worth it. They all give the best to teach you properly. And they want you to be happy. Salsa-dancing course and visiting the city belong also to their program to keep the learning easy. I recomend this school definitely.

Since our stay in Quito was the first of many places in South America, we wanted the experience to be a bit more comfortable than just going there, without any knowledge of the Spanish language and go to a random hostel. So I contacted Jose from the Cristobal Colon Spanish School. He arranged for us to be picked up at... More

I learned a great deal in just two weeks and have to thank Jose and Cristian and the entire group for the experience. I learned more Spanish than I expected, and like prior comments, in a very organized and helpful fashion. Muchas gracias Cristian por su paciencia!
