Enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape of Peru on board of a luxury and magical way to travel between Cusco and the Lake Titicaca. Travelling in the PeruRail Titicaca Train is a unique experience, a route between mountains, clouds, snow-capped mountains and puna finishing in the majestic Lake Titicaca. Its coaches involve you in an environment extremely decorated with the elegant style of Pullman trains of the decade of 1920. Its tourist shows, the 5-fork lunch, dining cars, observatory-bar car outdoors, among other attractions.

The journey to Machu Pichu was focussed on the scenery and the anticipation. Travelling back promised a three hour trip in the dark and I was armed with my book and crosswords. However, after the snack was served PeruRail had other ideas. The dancing and...More

We took the train from Cusco to Machu Pichu. The train is clean and comfortable. They served a sandwich lunch and they were very punctual.

I traveled from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu and it was a great experience. The Windows were large enough to capture great photos. The staff was very helpful in ensuring that I got off at the right stop.

My family of five is interested in traveling on a luxury train from Puno to Cusco on July 31, 2017. I am super confused about how to make sure I am booking on a luxury train. I see the Hiram Bingham Luxury train as well as the PeruRail Andean Explorer . Which one is an all day journey from Puno to Cusco that is "out of this world wonderful" as the reviews say? I don't mind paying the $$ as long as I am booking the luxury train. Help?

Does the price for Andean Explorer from Puno to Cusco is the same as if you are taking train from Cusco to Puno? In previous years it was cheaper. Now when I'm checking Perurail site it shows the same. Any advice appreciated.

No the price from Cusco to Puno is more than double the price for travel from Puno to Cusco.
