It is an impressive plaza. Must seen stop within your visit to Cusco. You could have a good taste of the place by visiting the plaza and you should have a walk along the streets nearby. I strongly recommend to visit the cathedral and have...More

A vast plaza, this is a pedestrian only space. When we were visiting, the daytime was filled with school groups parading past the cathedral in ceremony - quite something to watch. At night, the place if filled with people enjoying the cool evening after a...More

I didn't like Cusco overall, but found the square here to be an enjoyable experience. I spent a couple of hours just sitting on the steps of one of the churches, and watching the sites. I did visit one of the museums and wasn't impressed.

If you like crowd, life and stores, this is it :) You can find everything here, but in the same time the atmosphere is relaxing and take it easy - totally different than in western cities. Must visit if you are in Cusco.

Really beautiful square. Street vendors will hound you. The architecture is really beautiful. Locals hang out here. Restaurants are expensive and touristy.

So much to do and see! The Plaza de Armas is the tourist city center of Cusco. You can go anywhere in the city from here. Quechuan women accept tips for photos in full, bright traditional garb; some hold baby llama or lambs. Despite what...More

Great little area with bars/shops and restaurants, would have given 5 stars but for the street sellers pushing fake drugs, these people are everywhere and not to be trusted if you're into that sort of thing!

Spanish Conquistadors roamed these plazas at one time and their marks are still obvious today. Very historic with a strong European influence. The Catholic Church has blended with the Quechua culture and created some unusual relics in the church in the Plaza.

Durante o dia é agradável e não chove. No final da tarde esfria e a noite a temperatura cai bastante e venta muito, entre 1 e 7 graus com sensação térmica de mais frio.
