I would recommend visiting this site on your own time... While the city tour brought us inside, and gave us some information... there was so much that we had to pass by to keep on our schedule. If you are truly interested in art and...More

A Cusquenian artist painted the last supper - and the face of Judas is the face of Pizarro (who is the Spaniard that killed the last Incan Chief) Little local touch. The church is right on the Plaza- great area.

A beautiful cathedral, lots of paintings, great carvings in the choir of 93 (or 91??) different saints. but not worth the 25 sole entrance fee.

What a beautiful sanctuary. Make sure you find the painting in the right front corner. We enjoyed a rendition of "go Tell It on the Mountain" and "Come all Ye Faithful" in Latin.

No need to book in advance. You should be able to get in during the day unless there is a reason that the church is closed.
