If you have free time, a Boleto Turistico, and no children, then you might stop by this museum. It is two rooms, one filled with winners of a local art contest. I have never seen so many interesting interpretations of nativity scenes. Some of the artwork would probably scare small children and most of it would be boring to children... More

This is the worst "museum" I've ever been to. I wouldn't even call it a museum! It's basically 2 rooms in a crappy basement, filled with five unmarked paintings seriously?) and weird sculptures. One small note indicates that the sculptures are actually just winners from local craft fairs dedicated to Christmas. Ummm.. Modern art??? We had the Tourist Pass so... More

Taking pictures is strictly forbidden which I truly regret in other places. Honestly this place I did not even think about my camera…. Place is stuffed with strange sculptures of that kind you can see in cheap bazaars. Not worth to go there even if it's included in Boleto Turistico.

Included on the Cusco Boleto Turistica, this small museum mostly contains examples of the carved scenes - nativities etc - for which Cusco is famous. Many of the faces are distorted/satirical, like small versions of the Vallencia Fallas figures, which struck me as quite unusual and different especially in a Nativity scene.

This place really wasn't for me. A tiny little place which doesn't seem to be very organised. There is some art work in the first room which is attributed to nobody. The main room was filled with bizarre sculptures. Not worth looking for this place.
