If you are going for alpaca scarf with modern touch and great quality, this is the place to go. There are many stores in Cusco and the one near Starbucks at the main square is the biggest. They do offer a little bit discount for...More

There is a lot of clothing around Cusco posing as alpaca. Believe it or not, some of that is fake, and some of it wasn’t actually made by the colourfully-dressed people who are selling it. Enter Kuna. It is a higher-end, High-quality purveyor of sweaters,...More

Kuna has several stores in Cusco. The largest is on the Places des Armes. It does seem that each store has slightly different merchandise. I loved their products and considering the quality the prices were fair. Can you buy cheaper around the city? Sure but...More

I shopped at multiple Kuna's while in Peru and they all had spectacular service and slightly different products. They also run quite a few discounts, ask what's on sale because usually you can get 5-50 percent off something.

The alpaca poncho I was interested in buying had a small defect (a small pull with loose thread), unfortunately it was the last one they had in this particular shop. So they rang another Kuna shop in Cusco and found one. Instead of asking me...More

We were taken here to get off the beaten path. I know from experience, that often drivers get a cut of what their tourists pay in shops. The alpaca here is excellent. And the prices not too bad or too much. If you just want...More

This is a fantastic place to by premium alpaca clothing but rest-assured that you will be paying a huge premium for the items you are purchasing. A standard sweater of mid-grade alpaca will cost a few hundred USD while a luxury, Vicuna sweater will run...More
