We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If your a local I’m sure it makes sense however we decided to see the local team in Cusco play, it was very confusing
1) arrive early to buy a ticket, buying from the people on the streets is more expensive, walk around the ground to find the ticket office.
2) don’t be put off buy all the people running around of the supporters. All they are doing is trying to find an open gate.
3) follow police instructions they are telling you where the open gates are.
4) open one gate at a time, then all police move round to the next gate this is the organised chaos.

Once your in, it’s great fun, loads of family’s and safe environment.
Go watch a match if they are playing.

Tickets for matches can be bought at small ticket offices around the stadium. Don’t buy one from a street seller. They cost 15 solis. There are a group of young male supporters who process to the stadium from the town with a brass band. They let off fire crackers in the square just befpre the stadium. The ground is not covered so take or buy a rain poncho. The football is about league 2 level but enormous fun. Sellers of food items come round. You can buy guinea pig on skewers, fried egg, rice, chips, cakes, crisps and ice creams. It is perfectly safe. There is a large police presence. It was a most enjoyable experience.

We went to watch Cienciano and the match had everything you could wish for.. 4 goals, 4 red cards and the fans were great. The ground is typically South American and had a lot of character. There were chaps going round selling all sorts of snacks and drinks. Highly recommend watching a game here
