Be sure to take in this historically rich area of Lima. We stayed in Miraflores and wished we had been handier. There is just so much history here - especially dating back to the 15th century when the Spaniards came to Peru.

I always love the historical area and the plazas and Lima, Peru doesn't disappoint; rather it is one of the beautiful areas to be in. The architecture is spectacular and everything is so well kept. Obviously, a must-see area when in Lima.

If you enjoy walking and sightseeing, this is an excellent place to see locals and tourists. We walked to the main square, named Plaza de Armas, entered San Pedro church, enjoyed a pisco sour at Bar Maury and continued to take in the sights.
