Such a relief to visit this one-of-a-kind shop. The inventory is authentic and reasonably priced, but it's the owner that really makes this an experience you will never forget. Along with an armful of super cool items we had a handwritten note that described the origin of everything we purchased. If you want heirlooms that you will always treasure make... More

Visited the shop last week, and had an extremely pleasant chat with the owner. Mari stocks a wide range of Peruvian art and treasures, ranging in price from a dollar up. I wanted one special keepsake to remind me of my trip to Lima, and I found it here. The shop is located on a very pleasant street in the... More

We brought a retablo at this store, extremely knowledgeable owner, excellent advice, highest quality crafts and reasonable prices. Very highly recommended!

We enjoyed talking to the British owner who is so very charming and is fluent in Spanish as well. It was interesting to hear about the sources of her collection and how they were made. Her store is also in her home which makes the shop even more special. There are items for a few dollars and then some exquisite... More

Nothing acrylic or mass produced here - LAS PALLAS offers a wonderful collection of Peruvian crafts - from textiles and ceramics to rugs and small trinkets - all wonderfully curated by the charming British shop owner Mari. SOOOOOO much better than the "craft markets" where everything feels mass produced and made for the tourist market. Everything here is one of... More

I've been to lots of markets, mercados, ferias, etc. Artesanias Las Pallas is a must visit if you are looking for a few souvenirs to take home. All kinds of variety from 1USD to $2,500 USD. You won't be disappointed.

Might be a tad bit more expensive then some of the others but it's a good bet when you are looking for something just a little different. Plus it's in Barranco a really nice area of Lima peppered with great restaurants and art galleries

This store is run by an eccentric owner who is a passionate of Peru and its various cultures and artisans and has over 30 years of experience of the artisana of the country. It offers high quality products (you will see the difference when you go to the more standard stores) from all of the areas of Peru. We bought... More

My wife and I recently visited the Barranco and sought out Las Pallas based on prior research on best places to shop in the Lima area. The friendly and knowledgeable owner provided excellent commentary on her many fascinating wares carefully sourced from all over Peru. Quality of items was high and this was just the kind of shop we wanted.... More

By far the best traditional artisan handicraft store I have seen in Lima after many trips to the city. Yes, the prices are higher than the stores with mass produced goods but the craftsmanship is so much better. Something bought here can be cherished for a long time. The owner speaks Spanish and English and can speak in great detail... More
