SkyKitchen is all about Peruvian cuisine and food culture. You will learn about ingredients and the preparation of typical Peruvian dishes by preparing a 3 or 4 course meal by yourself. This is a hands-on cooking class under the instruction of one of our chefs. Enjoy your self-prepared dishes on a nice rooftop terrace overlooking Miraflores having a conversation with your fellow participants and the chef. Add a market tour to your cooking class and learn where most Peruvians get their fresh ingredients daily. Include a fruit tasting of more thank 35 fruits grown in Peru and discover lots of new flavours.

Our group of 4 couples participated in the market visit, fruit tasting, and 4-course luncheon preparation package on our first, full day in Lima. It was a lucky decision on our part because from the moment we met Christian and Diana at Mercado Nro 1, we were immersed in Peruvian culture, food, tastes, aromas, and food preparations. And...the best part... More

We made a last-minute decision and book the reservation for the next day. We took the one hour tour of the fruit and vegetable market, followed by a one hour tasting experience of 35 fruits, followed by a luncheon cooking class of about two hours. Our guide (Diana) had previously worked as a translator but she had developed great skills... More

The SkyKitchen is a truly amazing experience, and while spending time exoloring Lima, I would highly recommend it. The setting is stellar, a beautiful, private rooftop, fully equipped kitchen, a talented group of Chefs... what more could you ask for. We had the pleasre of experiencing 2 Chefs, Diego and Christian. They are both lovely, so passionate about their craft,... More

My husband and I went to SkyKitchen and had a wonderful culinary experience with Diego. He is very knowledgeable about Peruvian cuisine and an expert chef. We did the fruit tasting first (highly recommended - we had around 35 different types of fruits from Peru!), then the cooking class where we made four traditional dishes. All very very good. We... I booked this class for my boyfriend and I as something different to do during our four month trip around South America. It costs $70 per person to learn how to cook and then eat four traditional Peruvian dishes. Because we are backpacking, it was at the top end of our budget, but it's an activity and high quality meal... More

First, the SkyKitchen is a lovely rooftop kitchen, with the quiet seaswells forming the background music. So the ambiance was lovely. The experience of doing the food prep and understanding the ingredients was really interesting, and, of course, the food was great....we cooked it!! In fact, I had a business dinner the night before at Rosa Nautica (one of the... More

With my wife having been the one to book this, but sidelined with illness on the day of, I went solo to Sky Kitchen, though was very pleased to encounter two other guests who live only 30 miles from us here in Michigan. Sky Kitchen was one of the two highlights of our stay in Lima. You'll actually prepare your... More

I was thrilled to take a market tour and two days of cooking lessons with Diego. He was a restaurant chef for many years, and is very knowledgeable about Peruvian food and cooking. I learned so much, and the food we made was delicious. I've taken notes, photographs, and I'm ready to return to the U.S. To make Peruvian food... More

We had a wonderful time learning how to cook four traditional Peruvian dishes from scratch. Not only do you get to eat the food but you learn a lot too about the ingredients that are used. We will be back!

We found this recommendation on Trip Advisor and can only say that every good word written about it is 100% true. Diego and Christian and Alisette are all terrific. Beautiful, relaxed setting, designed with great taste. Perfect menu and detailed instructions. Fun atmosphere created by true lovers of Peruvian cuisine. Totally delicious food. A true gem of an experience!
