Beautiful neighborhood full of shops, restaurants and walking areas. It's relatively safe if you're solo and a woman make sure you walk in busy streets and not late at night, but that's true of all of South America. Lots to see, excellent fruit market, relaxing, and good restaurants. Great location!

Being in Lima and not walking on the Miraflores boardwalk until you finish in Barranco is like not having finished knowing the city. Miraflores is a district located in a central place and near the sea, with excellent views and sunsets. It is a very safe district and with many types of tourist attractions, much art, history and modernism in... More

In Lima, this is where you need to go for a view of the coast and lots of different foods to choose from with an outdoor mall.

Great city to stay. Safe, walking friendly. Everything is walking distance. There is LarcoMar nearby, quaint spaces, food, and it is very safe for tourists.

If you're coming to Lima I would recommend staying in Miraflores as it is easy to navigate around and not only feels safe but is safe. We had no problems here at all. There plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and interesting places all within easy walking distances from the many hotels.

We were on a tour and only spent a little time there, but the cliff, the beach, the boardwalk and the views from condos- stunning.

This is the area you have to stay if you want to have a lot of action around the hotel. Most of the very good Hotels are in this area, and this for a reason.

The Miraflores district is at the other end of this long city from the airport. It houses the richest people of Lima, in large skyscrapers and fancy gated streets. it is also home all the brand name shops you know from. So if you want to see the real Lima, I suggest staying elsewhere, If.on the other hand, you want to... More

High class neighborhood with a charming tranquil feel. More options for activities, food, experience then imaginable. A little pricey. Super clean. Very safe. Excellent beaches. Good transportation available.
