This is a small and beautiful church - very inviting. One is everything but overwhelmed and yet the intrinsic gold trappings and artful décor loom large. This is a must include visit on any tour of Lima.
Not always open so you ought to try to call. This is home to El Señor de Los Milagros and has a beautiful statue. Lots of gold leaf decorating the altar. I'd say it's a must see. Built n 1771 after great earthquake of 1746....More
This is a small yet very beautiful church where the famous image of El Senor de los Milagros is housed. Unfortunately, it is so delicate, that it is not in display except in October. Nevertheless, it is a worth to stop by a this church.
