Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are close to Plaza de Armas and want to visit a more governmental sight, El Congreso is the place. They offer tours and when I went we actually got to sit in on one of the discussion between Peru's politicians. Make sure you bring your passport because they won't let you in if you don't. Again if you are interested in political science or history you will be fascinated. When you first walk in they have all the constitutions of Peru on display which was freaking awesome if you like that stuff! All the history of the nation within those walls makes it a cool place to stop if you have time to kill.

The Congreso is a beautiful building and host to the Congress of the Republic of Peru. It is worth taking the tour - you must have your passport. 2-4pm, but not Thursday. Close to Plaza de Armas.

Such as many other buildings in Lima, its architecture is really beautiful. Typical tourist visit, I've made it on my own but there are options of guided visits (may be nice if you want to know about its history, I prefer do the search by myself)

Although we couldn’t get into the Congress of the Republic, seeing it from the outside was interesting. Its neoclassical architecture is impressive and reflects the historical and political importance of the place. It is a key point in understanding how Peru’s democratic system works and its role in the country’s history. It is definitely a place worth watching during a tour of Lima.
