Go out of your way to enjoy this area. Art shops, street musicians, parks, and lush landscaping make this a special place to stroll, then dine. Where the locals go to dine! Do try Javier’s for their Sea Bass <corvina a la parilla>. Best meal...More

Great street art. This is also where the bridge of sighs is located. Quaint little district and well worth a visit.

Barranco is a great area to hang out. Lots of excellent cafe and restaurants around the area. Believe or not, it has a huge Starbucks Coffee there.

Loved our day exploring Barranco. Much more interesting and laid back than Miraflores. Amazing restaurants, bars, third wave coffee shops, book shops and art galleries. I want to move here!

Barranco has a colourful energetic vibe that distinguishes it from other neighbourhoods in Lima. Cool cafes, galleries and museums with some nice cliff top views.

More laid back with an Indy style, Barranco is a great district to eat, drink, wander around and people watch. Whilst not so good as Miraflores for fancy stores and the like the area has some interesting shops and outlets, including a great barber's that...More

We loved the atmosphere here. We visited the street artists and bought some jewelry. The park was lovely. Musicians on the street. We felt safe.
