Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Machu Picchu is amazing. We did Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu via the jungle trek.
The only issue is that we had a HORRIBLE tour company for Machu Picchu. DO NOT use #actionmachupicchu as they are incompetent and liars. They did not book us tickets to Machu Picchu (on a Machu Picchu tour) and then were unwilling to refund us for any of the services we did receive that were part of the tour. It took us 2 hours of sitting in their shop making an official complaint and turning away other customers for them to even give us a partial refund. They are shop 285 in the plaza del armes. Make sure you use somewhere else as I don't want anyone to be caught out like we were.

this is one of the many temples inside this marvellous site. i think, and this is just my personal tip, it's much better watching it from the high than visiting it from inside

The Temple of the 3 Windows is a large open room made of huge boulders with 3 massive windows in the middle. This temple is located within the larger Machu Picchu site and can be visited on the tour of MP.

Its very cool seeing the Temple of the Three Windows. There are some nice photos to be taken around that spot. One of the better parts of MP. A guide is helpful for MP as there is a lot more information they can provide throughout the tour.

Use a guide or do some research ahead of time on all of Macchu Pichu or you will just see a "bunch of stones". This is one of the parts of MP that has meaning that must be understood in order to truly understand what you are viewing. I considered this area to be a good central location on MP. We used this as a landmark to meet up with members of our party as we individually explored MP.

The Temple of the Three Windows is a beautiful temple made of polygonal blocks assembled situated at east of the Sacred Square that is formed also by the Main Temple and the Priest's House. This fine structure was used for rituals.
It is a very peaceful place (except for the amount of tourists) with a fantastic view to the valley.

Since much of the ruins themselves are relatively modest (it is the setting that is spectacular here, not the ruins themselves - if you want to see ruins, go to Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Israel or Greece). All you see here is a stone structure with three windows. Pretty self explanatory really.

Nice photo stop of these archeological wonders of construction and civilisation. Just a pit stop in this place of so many wonders.

This was an amazing part of the Machu Picchu ruins. The building ability of the Incas is impressive.

So amazing watching the sun come through the windows how perfectly aligned they are. The engineering and craftsmanship of the Incas are outstanding!
