This is a sight that everyone should experience in their lifetime! It's is completely breathtaking, peaceful, and a gift from the Gods... truly!!! Be sure to get your passport stamped while there.. not many places in the world do this!
Beautiful terraced Incan city which you will come upon on day 3 of the trek after just passing the third and final pass on the trail. It allows for great views and it is all downhill from here to the camp site for the night.
FInally this is no longer on my bucket list. It is a tough trip to get there especially if you suffer from altitude sickness. However, once you get there, it is heaven. I am so glad we went and I will never forget.
