Great place for a nice walk or people watching. On a warm evening it's the best after a meal. Lots of people running, cycling or walking. Don't fear there is more than enough room for all. This is a big boardwalk.

The Rambla de Montevideo coastal street is huge. Therefore we drove it down in order to get a better feeling of the different views and places where to go. We stopped by the light house and after close to the MONTEVIDEO letters. There is also a nice river beach going further down the river. Close to the light house there... More

There's not much to see, but when the weather's nice, the Rambla is a nice long walking route along the river. Very safe and clean but no facilities.

Our first day in Montevideo and the weather was glorious. It is a great walk with interesting sights and activities. Dog walkers, flowering trees, wide open beach, a Jewish Memorial, parks, monuments, cafes and locals drinking their Mate on the streets

Great bike ride along the water. Caution however broken or missing tiles along the route. Started at the east end and had an easy ride to the marina and back, stopped along the way for a swim.

This is one of the most beautiful spots of the long-long Rambla de Montevideo. With a little bay, park and World Trade Center and Montevideo Shopping mall nearby.

Walked about 5km of it on a Sunday. Was a nice experience. Some nice views of the city and nice old houses along the way. Nice way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon!

There is a nice place to walk, run, or just to look up to the scenery. On Sundays there are many people at the beach, and it is very pleasant.

A lovely place for a walk. You can take in all the locals activities and nearly everyone is drinking tea from their special cups.

The Rambla in Montevideo is the place for everyone, locals and tourists! You have to go there and walk up and down and maybe a nice run. THe Rambla is really full in the weekends, especially in the areas of Punta Carretas, Pocitos and Buceo.
