It's a place to watch people.

The beach is not very clean but the water is said to be safe to swim in on the Pocitos beach. To walk along the Rambla in Pocitos is experiencing Montevideo's other side.

Twenty two kilometres of promenade alongside the sea in Montevideo. Is this the longest in the world.

This is the place to take in the sites in Montevideo. You can walk it, run it, ride a bike, or do your daily exercises. Everybody in Montevideo goes to la Rambla at one time during the day. It's a very, very wide boardwalk on the side of the river /ocean in a city that has a relax rhythm of... More

Nice views, nice walks, lovely to just enjoy. Small sailboat ports on the sides picturing the whole thing. Amazing details on warm days, windy days even cloudy days. Nice hotels, some very stylish like the one on the Rambla in Carrasco.

The Rambla is a fantastic oppotunity to enjoy a good walk watching the horisont and the Citys skyline all along the Way. We enjoyed it a lot. There is plenty to sea and Great little parcs for skating or exercise.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest rivieras in the world. A real hidden gem for foreign travelers on a place that most people never heard about.

Had a very pleasant walk along here on a sunny day. It can be pretty hot so make sure you go prepared. The bit near the beach is quite enjoyable and there is a nice pond to chill in at the park.

Stroll, run, bike, sit, love, anything is possible at the Rambla. It was our daily exercise, stroll the Rambla from our hotel, watch the sundown and watch the locals hanging out with their loved ones, sipping Matte. It is clean, safe, maintained and spacious. What is there not to love, you will!

Our group of friends did a walking tour during the morning and wanted to do shopping the rest of the day. We went to one mall by taxi from the port and went for a walk closed by. The rambla was full of locals running and also fishing! Is very relax and safe. Recommended.
