We had one of the greatest experience. Definitely if you are into wines and had the chance to visit Montevideo, this is probably a place you must visit. Great place, service and also we had the chance to had a great lunch with their wines.

Went there for a visit, do a wine taste and lunch. The ambience is very nice well decorated, we have a wine taste experience with lunch. Everything was really nicely prepared with a delicious choice of meats.

Terrific meal, lovely wines to taste, just do it for a long lazy afternoon and to get to the end of it and the VAT is removed making the whole shebang 22% less

You can pick up a taxi by the harbor...relatively short ride to bodega...sampling price is reasonable...probably can tailor your visit to accommodate your time...the wines are superb and make the effort worthwhile...we felt... More

Everything you ask is answered in my review, except about the cruise ship. I believe cruise ships dock in the old town, which is where I caught a taxi from a taxi stand across the street from the arrivals hall.
