Mike is so knowledgeable about all things Fijian. He is also very friendly, humorous and easy going. Mikes tour of the market involved sampling local produce, explaining what it was and telling us humorous stories about the use of kava and Fijian tobacco. Tour of the Hindu temple was very interesting for non Hindu tourists. Any time in the Garden... More

We chose the half-day waterfall tour and were picked up by Mike at our hotel -- what a friendly guy! Along the way we stopped at a grocery store for water and supplies and he made sure to point out places of interest and gave us valuable insights on how climate change and Cyclone Winston had effected the local villages.... I only had one week in Fiji, so I went to the Yasawa and Mamanuca islands, but after that I somehow had the feeling that I had missed out on something. Back in Viti Levu I decided to do the Health and Therapeutic Orchide Day Tour with Fiji eco tours which included a trip to a village in the Highlands.... More

My daughter and myself went on a tour with Mike and visited a small village and the waterfall with a local girl from the village. A truly beautiful day and lunch was a great experience. We visited with the Chief and his family for lunch and learnt about them. My daughter loved every second of it and the day will... More

This very well organised tour is a must for young families. So much fun and truely local Fijian experience. A family run business established Afew years ago offering total client satisfaction and safety a priority. The therapeutic natural hot springs and mud pools are a must. Typical 100% Fijian hospitality from Susan and Mike . BULA

Mike collected us from our hotel at the arranged time where we then went for lunch and kava ceremony. The kava tastes just like you expect it to and the food gives you an authentic tasting experience. From there a lovely lady (Mary?) led myself and our friend through a walk to the waterfall. Listening to Mary was fascinating and... More

The highlight of our recent trip to Fiji! We were collected by Mike as arranged from our hotel and driven to Abaca which is a reasonably remote village. We were planning on reaching the summit in one day but that proved difficult due to the heat but we still managed a very reasonable walk in this beautiful part of Fiji.... More

Bula Vanessa. Thanks for the review. We certainly enjoyed hosting your family at Abaca and it is truly a wonderland up in the Koroyanitu National Park. Maybe next time, when the children are older, you can come back and give the summit another go! Looking forward to seeing you again. Cheers from Mike & the Fiji Eco Tours Team More

I organised a weekend trek up Mount Batilamu for my partner and myself. It was a truly amazing experience! We spent the first night in the Abaca Nase Lodge and the second night on top of the mountain (on the tour companies recommendation). The accommodation was basic but cosy. The view from the top of the mountain was incredible, I'm... More
