It is a ways out from the beaten path, but worth the drive. Once there the villagers will want you to do a kava ceremony, and learn a little about the village. They will expect you to pay a small fee, then they have a...More

What a treat. It took a while from Denarau but wow oh wow. The walk or ride for some is worth it to. Small fee, but the kava makes up for it. Look at the photos. The pictures say 1000 words.

My partner and I loved this tour. We paid $25 each FJI and were welcomed into the hall for Kava and a welcoming ceremony. They do try and get you to buy stuff in the hall which is pretty annoying but you just look quickly...More

We had hired a car and just rocked up un-announced and a little un-prepared. We arrived late in the afternoon. I would recommend an earlier start. Because we were so late, we missed the welcome ceremony the local tribe do to introduce you to the...More

We booked this through Lino Cappacino and Veronica who are villagers so all the money paid for the tour goes back to the local village. They picked us up from our hotel, we had a welcoming ceremony and could then browse the villagers handicrafts (great...More

We are originally from Fiji and my parents grew up in Fiji but there are places like Biausevu that even Fiji locals don't know about or have not visited. We went by taxi. This was a much cheaper option. The drive up was breathtaking. We...More

Great experience with a welcome ceremony. And the walk to the water fall with a local guide was great.

If you spend anytime on the mainland, you owe it to yourself to experience the interior and not just the beach. Biausevu is a wonderful introduction to village life and the forested heart of Fiji. The water is very refreshing on a hot day!

This was great for us and the kids to see how the "real Fiji" is. Before I go into details, to give back to the community book through the village. If you are staying at The Warwick book using the village to the west of...More

Hi, we hired a car from Suva, so didn't need a taxi. But taxi fares are quite cheap in Fiji, so my guesstimate is not more than AU$30 from Naviti for a standard 4 pax taxi. Cheers.
