One of the most stunning bays on the islands but it is far better to hike up the hillside and see it from above, well worth the effort.

An amazing bay to enter into the beautiful island of Fatu Hiva. Some lovely little villages and very friendly people. Anyone who appreciates amazing landscapes will love it here.

Arrived on the Aranui 5 to see a beautiful view of the bay. It was even more spectacular on leaving with a rainbow. The town itself does not have much there but the people are lovely.

I did the 17km walk over the island and although it's quite hard because of the heat, there is beautiful scenery and views along the way. Lovely to walk into the town at the end

I have been there on my own, without other tourists. It was a wonderful experience to take the walk from Havanave to Omoa with friendly people and had a wonderful stay at pension chez Lionel.
