Tahiti Dinner

Nice place to visit staying in Tahiti. Lots of different food for small money👍 My husband and I were here for 2 times and our dinner was always more than delicious 😋

My husband and I were torn about paying for a taxi to and from the Papeete airport to the roulottes during our long layover between our flights from Bora Bora and to LAX... I'm so glad we did! This was an awesome cultural experience - felt like the Tahitian version of an american food truck park day. We had Chinese-style... More

We look forward to eating here when we visit Papeete. We stay at the Hotel Tahiti Nui and it is a short walk. The servings are very generous and a lot to chose from. There are usually some local musicians and the atmosphere is fun.

Great food. Good price. Crepes were the best! Fun atmosphere, by the water front. Must do. Only open in the evening. Not fast food, sit down and order.

I came across the Papeete food trucks on TripAdvisor so we thought we would give it ago. We were staying at the Hotel Tahiti Nui and to our surprise it was only a 5min walk to the warf where the food trucks are set up. It did not disappoint! The food was the best and so cheap. Great selection. And... More

We ventured out of our resort in Papeete to try some local cuisine. We came across the Los Roulettes on Trip Advisor and decided to try them. Basically the Los Roulettes is a food truck courtyard by the cruise ship dock. The trucks offer a variety of cuisine from Chinese, French, Pizza, Burgers, etc. we tried the pizza and Chinese... It's amazing what can come out of the food truck. We arrived at the Roulottes quite early and enjoyed watching the set-up of the Roulottes as they arrived. Organized and efficient, tables, plastic seats were brought out and set-up followed closely by grills and cooking tables and paraphernalia. Then the colourful signs were displayed. The atmosphere is quite electric and... More

We loved the food trucks! An incredible range & brilliant carnival like atmosphere. I was impressed at the quality & portions of the food-excellent value for money. Probably our favourite experience of being in Papeete.

If you're looking for a cheaper way to eat in Tahiti, this is the place for you! Lots of places and cuisines to choose from. Large, fresh portions of food for decent prices! Don't miss this place for the world! We tried two and both were perfect! I'd go here every night!

Our last night in papeete, had to try the Roulottes at Place Vaiete, and were not disappointed. Great setting on the waterfront, we tried fish nd chips at the Pirates wagon... very nice and well priced at 1500 XPF each. They start serving around 6pm and its a good idea to get there early..
