Not the best place to be during a heat wave as there isn't any air conditioning. The building houses several artefacts that are surprising by their age. The history of Albania is fascinating but unfortunately, many labels are not in English and there isn't a...More

A good museum with a very good curated space and exhibition. However, there is a propagandistic approach to the "great Albanian" dream. I love history and I know quite few things, and unfortunately the museum is "pushing" to a very patriotic than realistic approach. It...More

There are some good artefacts but unfortunately a significant proportion of the museum isn't in English, so was meaningless to us. In particular the Communist Era, so that was a real shame. Best go out of summer months if possible as no air con. Very...More

The building is quite impressive. However, the museum collection is rather poor and the rooms are a litle bit outdated. Very negatve is the fact of not having guides in different languages and the lack of translation for most of the exibited pieces ir photos.

It's a large museum, it's hot as three hells (no air conditioning). The museum gives the masses the history of Albania. I was surprised that Albania never gave up a Jew to the Germans. No Photos allowed!!

Could use some more english translations, and maybe airconditioning when its 41°c outside. Other than that ot was informative and nice.

Once inside the cavernous hallway...buying a ticket and getting directions to the WC may be the most challenging of the overall experience. There is enough English subtitles on the museum pieces to gain an understanding of the regions ancient and recent past and culture of...More

This museum has very traditional exhibitions. However, if you want to understand the background of the somewhat mysterous Albanian culture in a short time you should go here.
