Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stunning Venetian inspired clock tower just off Skanderbeg Square. Many different types of architecture around the square so definitely worth a look. At 35 metres (115 ft) tall and was the tallest building in the city when it was built in 1822.

Located just off Skanderberg Square and right next go Et’hem Mosque, the Bell Tower is easy to spot. The 200 Lek entry fee is worth it because of the excellent views of Skanderberg Square and beyond. Opening hours seem to be a bit irregular.

Well, the clock tower is not something to wow about or you haven't seen before, but is still one of the capital's landmarks.
It rises behind the Ethem Bey Mosque minaret and takes one of the commanding positions on Skenderbeg Sq.
It was built in 19c by Ottomans in Venetian style.

but, it is right next to some major construction where you have a huge crane in the way. You are not going out of the way to see this because it is next to the mosque. very close to the Skanderbeg statue. You might as well stop over to taka look.

Built at the beginning of 19th century, exactly at 1822, at the time of the new short-lived Albanian kingdom. Right at the back of the old mosque too close to the Tirana main square, it marks the Venetian influence on Albanian architecture. Interesting to watch.

Clock tower located just of the main square and next to the mosque.

Tower itself looks nice and has historical value to the area and city. Up top views are fairly good and you can see a lot of main square.

Not overly expensive to walk up tower so probably worth doing for that reason.

It is a must see if you are in the city. The clock was built by my family in 1820, and the tower by different families. A lot of old places in Tirona have been torn apart, this one remains as the logo of the city. It is unique in its own beauty.

If you go on the free walking tour, that starts at 11am in front of the national museum, (The building with the huge mosaic on top) you can gain access to the top of the tower, which is a spectacular view.

Here there is no fee, but the door is locked and you have to ask some girl to open for you (she has the office 3 metters next to the building). You are allowed to stay inside there for no more than 10 minutes, but you do not need to stay more. Just go up, see the view of the city center, take a picture an that's it.
There is no fee entrance.
