Wow! This was a fantastic adventure in the mountains and lakes. Some quite demanding and lengthy walks between camps. Splendid views with miles and miles of mountain ranges. Sparsely populated. Tiny villages with very welcoming inhabitants. Our local guide, from Outdoor Albania, provided us with invaluable information and help. Mules provided to carry luggage. Accommodation with locals or in hostels... More

The trip was a cultural tour of Albania, a very lovely country and a microcosm of Europe. There are UNESCO World heritage sights ( the old cities of Berat and Girokastra) as well as magnificent scenery such as the Osumi Canyon. And, there are beautiful beaches, lakes and and mountains. The people are quite warm and lovely too and the... More

Fantastic cycling holiday run through Explore and organised by Outdoor Albania. We cycled the southern half of Albania which is a very beautiful country- from the Albanian Alps to the Albanian Riviera. Everything was very well planned but at the same time relaxed. Gent, our guide, was organised, flexible, and a very good host to his country. He advised on... More

I traveled to Albania with a friend for a week in August. We knew that we wanted to hike and see some of the sites in Albania that can only be seen by foot, but we didn't really know how best to divide our time in the country. I emailed Outdoor Albania, and Hahn Le responded immediately, providing a proposed... More

We made a hiking trip in the Albanian Alps 2 weeks ago. We had an excellent time !, climbs were challenging but the views were breath taking and the nature was unspoiled. We stayed the nights mostly in local Guesthouses which were basic, but clean and had all showers with hot running water and wifi. Our tour guide Alfred Pepaj,... More
