Tour with Choose Balkans was excellent and very well organised.
Guide Julian Bradasheshi was outstanding, knowledgeable on all touring matters , city and country histories and culture. When necessary he gave me physical assistance as I am elderly. It was a pleasure to travel with him and I recommend him to any one seeking a guide in Albania.

We had to plan our trip to Albania in a few days due to the war in Israel. They were amazing. They reserved everything and we did not pay until we arrived. Everyone was timely and friendly! Biordi our driver for 10 days took us every where and was flexible when we had to change. Albania is an amazing country and Biordi knew so much about every area and brought in experts to teach us archeology and history. We went up to the Albania Alps and hiked, and worked our way south to the border of Greece. We have been all over the world and this was our favorite beaches of all time! We loved every part of it! And so much cheaper than the rest of Europe!

We did a personalized 12 day tour starting in Tirana and including Thethe, Shkodra, Berat, Saranda, Himara and Kruja. Amazing! Bjordi was our driver and guide. His expertise was clear from day one, and we thoroughly enjoyed touring historical sites with him as well as doing some gorgeous hikes. This is the type of tour to do if you want to learn about the fascinating history of Albania and present Albanian life, while taking advantage of all that Albania has to offer today, including the food, culture, wildlife, beaches and mountains.

We travelled with Nikolla and Albanian Tours for 11 days across Albania and can only highly recommend them as a travel guide: They are very good and careful driver, extremely knowledgeable about Albanian (and European!) history and know every background story to every monument we saw, every region we travelled to, and all the historic sights we enjoyed.
In particular, our driver’s warm and kind manner and good sense of humour make him a very pleasant travel partner. He really cares about your well-being and respects your privacy. He will go out of his way to ensure that you see the best side of Albania.
In sum, we can only highly recommend Albanian Tours as your guide and travel partner for your next trip to Albania or any other Balkan region. Thank you again.

We spent 8 amazing days touring Albania with Genti Proseku and it was Albanian hospitality at its best. Genti made this journey so much more than a trip; he immersed us in authentic, wonderful Albanian experiences.....
He was tireless in ensuring he provide the best possible experience of his country; whether exploring Albanias' incredible natural beauty (waterfalls, canyons, caves), being captivated by the fascinating archaeological sites and rich history, or savoring exquisite meals of fresh local ingredients, Genti’s attentive and enthusiastic manner was endless.
I arrived in Albania knowing nothing of the country; I left 8 days later with a love of its people, its culture, its food, its beauty. By sharing his personal experiences of growing up in Albania, his vast knowledge of its history, his love for the outdoors and his ability to find the absolute BEST fresh food, Genti provided an amazing, welcoming, and inspiring Albania experience.
We travel frequently but have seldom met anyone I would recommend this highly. Genti is an amazing guide who enabled so many cherished memories of our Albania journey.

The circuit concocted by our guide, Bianca, allowed us, in one week, to make unforgettable discoveries, such as Ottoman monuments, a Venetian mask factory, as well as magnificent sites (beaches and mountains). We benefited from his perfect knowledge of French, his country and its history! We appreciated his availability, his good humor and his taste for Albanian gastronomy.

Grateful for this team and the responsiveness they provided as we met challenges along the way throughout Albania. The always answered our calls to help. Easy to book with and trustworthy. Car needed brake lights and we didn't get a welcome drink, but all was wonderful and the itinerary was excellent. We had a great time.

We just had our 3-day customized tour from Tours Albania & Balkans and it was awesome. The rate was super worth it. The places we went to (Bovilla Lake, Pellumbas Cave, Shengergji Waterfall, Vlora, Llagora Natinal Park, etc.) were superb, breath-taking. A very laid back trip, just what we need need for a short Christmas holiday.
Our tour guides, Jimmy & Bjordi were very kind and accommodating! Very patient during the hike. They brought us to good quality restaurants and we had the best meals during the trip.
Two thumbs up for the team. Highly recommended and we’re looking forward to doing the Balkans tour soon! :)

Just returned from a two week tour of the Balkans with Tours Albania & Balkans and everything was wonderful. The two guides we had were extremely professional, friendly and well prepared. The tour was tailored to our requirements and we had a great time. Many thanks to everyone involved in the planning and for taking care of us.

We went on a group of friends for a lovely 8 day trip to Albania. The trip was exceptionally organized. All the trips combined challenging roads in the mountains, visiting villages, towns and mountains, accommodations, the sites we visited and the guidance were great. It is highly recommended to travel with the company!

Hi,
The family of four, kids ten and twelve, will be travelling the area in the summer of 2019. The plan is to start in Romania and then go south subsequently covering Bulgaria, and all of former Yugoslavia(except Slovenia and Croatia) plus Albania. Can a RELIABLE travel operator be recommended? Also, any suggestions on the way the visit should go, time frame and the order of what to see when, are welcome and greatly appreciated. Check with Jimmy Lana. Runs a tour company in Albania. Was with them for a week. Excellent experience. I imagine he could work with companies in Bulgaria and Romania.
Please know there is much to see on all of those countries.
Reduce your number of countries and hang out more.
You can not see it all. I have tired three times. Traveled to Yugoslavia (50 years ago) Croatia several times. Skip Dubrovnik. Far too many cruise ships. There is a lot of historical pain in all of these countries. Read Robert Kaplan's Balkan Ghosts for a twenty year old view of the history.
So much to see so little time.

We are staying 9km away from Corfu town which we will visit on a day to day basis on our own.

Hello Jaqueline Really sorry for not answering on time. I have been in a business trip for a month. Just back yesterday in office. I do organize group tours but the groups are collected from my partner Agencies overseas. I can organize the tour in private bases for you. If you are interested in group tours, contact Brightwater Holidays in UK, they have the group coming on 5th of May in Albania 8 days tour.
