Belarus perhaps suffered the most from the Nazi. And played a key role in the victory agaist them. Something completely ignored and deliberatly forgotten. What a shame

This area is best visited by walking all around and enjoying the beautiful architecture and quiet sounds of the city. It was an especially beautiful sunny day when we visited and is a beautiful memory!

Very emotive place with the large memorial and eternal flame. You realise how much this country suffered during WW2
