Fabulous to see the sea at Minsk. I love the smell of the ocean and the feel of spray in the air. An absolutely stunning location with view of beautiful distant horizons

Good place to walk around alone. Water, forest, quietness. If you want something to drink or eat, take it with you.

This the closest lake of appreciable size to Minsk. Despite its name, it is not in Minsk itself, but some 50 km from it. The lake (a water storage, to be exact) is very popular with the capital's inhabitants in summer, and is always overcrowded....More

Really worth a day trip. Best viewed renting a bike for less than 10€ in any of the many bike shops in the city. There is also a train station. Even if the water is not very clean the place includes forest, barbacues, playgrounds... Perfect...More

They say its a man made lake. Since the country is landlocked, this is a place where people from Minsk come for water activities. However, if you going with a group of friends, its a good place for camping etc.
