Cycling "Minsk.Best" tour

This is a trip to the world of 1000 years history of the belarusian capital.

The most significant monuments, persons and legends of our city are in one tour. The city of eclectic mixture will meet you, where the spires of the old town are towering to the sky together with the modern office blocks, where old private houses' wooden walls are standing side by side with soviet palaces' marble, where Baroque's soft and warm lines are in contrast with pompous Stalin's Empire style. Mutilated in the past by wars and fires, today our main city looks clear and nice. Wide avenues and calm streets, giant squares and cosy yards, green parks will greet you and tell you what happened here over the last thousand years.

The city of writers and artists, sportsmen and under grounders is waiting for you!

Country Cycling "The "Belarus" Station" Tour

This is a golden classic of Belarusian tourism. We'll cycle around an expressive and spectacular schoolbook of history of Belarus unfolded on a picturesque landscape. The small town of Zaslaŭje absorbed whole dramatic nature and contrariety of the Belarusian context. Town's railway station with symbolic name "Belarus" was situated just on a state border between Poland and USSR in 1921-1939. In the period a number of pillboxes were constructed here from both sides. But the town was baring its defensive constructions many times before that: ramparts of Hliabovičs' castle of XVI cent., a fortified protestant church in Gothic-Renaissance style, ramparts of an ancient settlement of the X cent are still there... Spirit and praying were inside of them all the time: we'll see churches of the past, including Orthodox Cathedral. Nice hilly landscape, various historical sites, cycling around local paths, with use of local trains - welcome to real Belarus!

Exiting trip with our guide Raman from Minsk train station to up north in the country with train. We visited some musea there and some historic sites. Slowly we biked back tot Minsk and Raman told us everything he knew about Belarus. We learned a lot about Belarus which is a beautyful country which we will always remember. Minsk Bike Tour offers very good daytrips to explore Minsk and the countryside!

Yes, you were "lucky" to call us in a very short period when all our English speaking assistants were out of the country. If you consider it as a joke, then you may laugh. We don't think so. As for "one tour which is Friday evening" it's not true. In August we had 11 public tours, the schedule was published everywhere at all our publics and at the main Belarusian event websites. But we do public tours in Belarusian and Russian. As for private English tours, they could be made at a time agreed with a tourist. As we have a lack of good English speaking guides, probably, your brother was told about the nearest option for a private English tour.

We did not actually go on a tour with this company. We just went to their address as the guide on the free city tour told us that they had good bikes. Couldn't find the location of the company. A kind local rang them for us. They do not have an office they rent bikes from. They may be very good for a tour but if you just want to rent a bike and go for a spin around the river try either the Hotel Belarus or the rental in the park down from the War Museum. By the river. Bring your passport, driver's license not accepted.

Well, next time just contact us directly to ask about our services. We are not a bike rental. We do cycling tours and support our tourist with bikes. We don't have a physical office cause we don't need it. We have an address of business registration and a well known meeting point shown at all our publics. We can't even imagine where you where you were looking for us, where you were sent by "the guide on the free city tour" whom we don't even really know. There is no any information at our web site or at any other of our publics that we have bikes just for rent without a tour. We consider your evaluation of our activity as inadequate. Please, contact us directly next time to have actual info.

We are two women who visited Minsk in June. We wanted to see the city on bike and we phoned Raman. We had a great trip. Raman knows Minsk and the history of Belarus very good and he was taking us around the city on a very interesting trip. We went to some places we would never visited by our own and after the guided tour we also knew the city better and it was more easy to walk around by our own.

I went to Minsk for business and decided to stick around for another day to explore the city. After all, it is one of the more unusual destinations and not something you go to easily. (How many people do you know that have been there? See what I mean?). Instead of the usual walking up and down the touristy areas, I decided to take a bike trip with Miensk Bike Tour around town. I was not disappointed. The first part of the trip was the usual tour around Minsk. Afterwards, we added a tour of the surrounding area. For me, it was interesting to see the suburbs with their typical high rise buildings that I only knew from the movies. It felt strangely odd to hop up and down the curbs in this scenery. There are some beautiful parts outside of town too: there is a canal system and several pretty parks. The monument for the fallen Belarusian soldiers in Afghanistan was very impressive. The guide (Raman in this case) is a culturologist, so he knows a lot about the history and origins of his city and he can draw interesting connections because of his background. A tip: it is possible to customize your trip to see things that interest you but are not on the suggested trips on the website.
