We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sarajevo has neither its real opera house nor a concert hall, so practically all such events are held in the National Theatre - only a few being moved to the House of Army. It's a fine small provincial theatre building, but it is a pity there are not more guest orchestras and other performers, as its own orchestra and singers are - well, nothing really special

The National Theater is a beautiful venue and worthy of a visit with or without the attendance of an event.

This building is one of the finest creations by Karel Parik, who designed scores of public buildings in Sarajevo. An elegant structure set on Susan Sontag Square, it has a graceful Neoclassical facade which looks good by day or night. It exudes early twentieth century charm. The interior, with its red velvet and ornate balcony stalls, offers ballet, opera and classical musical performances. Unless you come for one of these, it is just a landmark to have a quick look at on your wanders around the historic centre of Sarajevo.

Each year a red carpet venue for Sarajevo Film Festival. Beautiful hall, as outside, as inside. A bit hot inside during summers.

I came across this building during my walk on the pedestrian lane or street. It looks beautiful outside and wondered how it looks and sounds inside.

Hoping to see a show here before I leave Sarajevo!

Last Thursday I attended a Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Theatre. It was my first time inside the National Theater, a small but spectacular hall! The Theatre is a venue for local theatre, symphony, ballet, opera, and other performing arts performances. Tickets are inexpensive.

Sarajevo has neither a concert hall nor a "true" opera house, so most of the cultural events take place in this rather modes theatre, which was obviously built for much smaller town. A fine historicist building, not overdecorated. They say the acoustics are quite good too

It is relatively small theater similar to neigbeoring countries coatia (Zagreb, Split). It can sit less than 1000, a proper size for the small population of the city. But the quality of the performance is very high. The modern ballet premiere performed in Nov 2018 is excellent in dancing, music, and singing.
