Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Skenderija Bridge is a footbridge located in western end of Sarajevo connecting M18 with Terezija on the south bank. The bridge was badly damaged during the last war and restored in 2004. It’s a truss bridge with a span of about 60m, and is home to love locks. There’s even a sculpture of a love heart just in case anyone missed the point. It’s not something I’d go out of the way to see, but we had time.

There are a number of bridges across the River Miljacka that are very similar in appearance. This is one of them. To Sarajevans this is known as Eiffel’s Bridge.

Skenderija Bridge is also known as Love Bridge. Why, when the Romeo and Juliet Bridge would be far more logical I do not know. There is a large re heart located half-way across the bridge and there are some padlocks attached to the bridge by courting couples. The bridge was built, in 1893, to replace a wooden bridge which was washed away in a flood. It is made of steel and although some say that it was built by Gustave Eiffel, there are apparently no written documents to support this claim.

This brfidge has been designed by Gustave Eiffel - yes, the same one who built the Eiffel tower! Now also popular as home to a small number of love locks. During Sarajevo Film Festival, it is also used as a stage and location for temporary cafes.

The Skenderija Bridge (Bosnian: Skenderija Most) is one of the many bridges in downtown Sarajevo over the Miljacka River. It is not particularly worth seeing, we passed it during a walk.
